Process - broken, inefficient, unoptimised processes are also a massive stumbling block and it's often not obvious where these are failing.
Product - the tools that are implemented to deliver the processes must do so effectively and must support the people.
Get any of these three wrong (and, to be honest, there are commonly problems in all three) and your business is going to struggle to grow and even struggle to sustain where it is now.
So, how do we work?
Again, it's back to the three P's.
People - with the best will in the world, leadership will always live in somewhat of an echo chamber. I therefore ensure that the organisation as a whole is part of my assessment and, just as important, part of any solution.
Process - it all starts with discovery which kicks off with leadership but then dives deep to expand, evolve and validate findings throughout the organisation. From that process I get findings and recommendations which get delivered to the business as a report. The business can then act on the report themselves or engage me at various levels to assist in the ongoing journey.
Product - the outcome of my work will be improved business processes, fully aligned staff with the products (tools) they need to maximise operations and delivery. From this comes business growth.
